Unless you have been living under a rock you would know some goodthings have been happening with the SA:LC mod. Since the mods hiatusprogress has been rock-steady and things and Beta 6 is closing towardscompletion. Here is a list of changes since Beta 5 accomplished bymyself and the help of various bug reporters and people giving advice,as well as RAWTalent.
Claude has been remodelled from the ground up, and many haircuts are now to scale and are properly working.
The northern, half modelled mountain that waspresent in GTA III and SA:LC's last beta has been completely revampedand now contains both sides as well as vegetation on it respectively.There are also a few vehicles that spawn there.
Hidden Packages have been added, along with theirbonuses for getting them in multiples of 10. 100 Packages also spawns aHydra at Phil's Warehouse.
The seabed is now completely solid and expands all the way to the maps edges, along with connecting to the outer-map seabed.
The Cochrane Dam is now very deep, and its bottom isaround 25 coords below water level. Seaweed, starfishes and rocks arealso on the dam bed.
The pond near The Projects now has a bed, covering the subway running through it.
The observatory has been fixed up, and is now as detailed as any other building. (Thanks to Bammagera)
Three clothing stores are now situated aroundLiberty City (Binco, Zip and Didier Sachs). Each have their own threeunique outfits for Claude. (This is a temporary fix until we get thereal clothing script in)
Three barber shops have also been put in the city and have 6-8 differentcuts for Claude in each. They are bought through picking up an icon.(Again, this is a temporary solution until we get the real hairdresserscript in)
Vending machines have been scattered around the city and are now usable.
Hot dog, ice cream and punk noodle stands have also been put in and can be used to purchase food.
All four casino games have been implemented and can be played inside Kenji's Casino.
Gyms are now in, as well as the ability to use the gym equipment as well as learn "new moves"
All skyscrapers in the southern section of Staunton Island are now completely solid.
The tops of the large building in Portland and thetallest skyscraper in Staunton Island are now linked to the lobby viaan interior marker. At the top of each are parachutes.
Several sound effects have been re-converted overafter being taken out due to bugs in the beta 5 update. There are no more crashes.
The SSV lift bridge is now completely solid.
The HUD's health numbers now have 0's in the correctplaces when health drops below 100 and ten (053 instead of 53). Thehealth system has also been enhanced, 100 being the max health at thestart of the game, and as the player upgrades their max health statusit can be increased up to 150.
Yakuza goons can now be hired by Claude to help him out.
Claude can wave or flip someone off when complemented or insulted through the positive and negative reply buttons.
There are now three Airtrains circling around Liberty City rather than one, like GTAIII.
All weapon stats have been converted over from GTAIII.
The shonky male/female sign on the Belleville Park toilet block has been fixed.
There is now a modelled bed for the Belleville Park pond instead of invisible collision.
The Banshee and Infernus now have their proper, GTAIII engine sounds
